Meet Samir Kunwar, a true embodiment of the yogic way of life. Samir’s journey in the world of yoga and sound healing began in the sacred surroundings of Sri Aurobindo Yoga Mandir, where he was raised with a deep connection to these ancient practices. From his early childhood, he has been immersed in the world of yoga, living and breathing its philosophy.
Samir’s commitment to yoga education and practice is reflected in his impressive credentials. He holds a diploma in Yogic Science from the renowned Bihar School of Yoga, a Bachelor’s degree in Yogic Therapy from Svyasa, and a Master’s degree in Yoga Therapy from Svyasa in Bangalore. He has further honed his skills through rigorous training, completing 200 and 300-hour yoga teacher training programs in Rishikesh.
With over 8 years of teaching experience, Samir has shared his profound knowledge and expertise with students from around the world. But his journey doesn’t stop at yoga. Samir has delved into the fascinating world of sound healing, learning the science of Himalayan singing bowls and sound therapy from esteemed masters in India, Nepal, and Tibet, including Buddhist monks from the upper Himalayan region.
As a third-generation healer, spirituality and healing have been an integral part of Samir’s life since childhood. He is an internationally certified 500-hour yoga teacher registered with Yoga Alliance USA, and he has had the privilege of training and working with numerous international students in various parts of world.
